The nose exhibits powerful aromatics of black currant, blackberry, smoked meat, coffee and vanilla. The palate serves up loads of forward fruit flavors of blueberry, boysenberry and blackberry, complemented by dark chocolate. The balanced acidity, firm tannins and great oak structure make for a pleasant well rounded mouthfeel. This wine is approachable now but will continue to develop within the bottle for 3-10 years.
