Comprised of 60% Syrah, 35% Grenache and 5% Petite Sirah, the 2004 offering is dense, dark purple in color and shows exotic aromas of black cherry, plum, smoke and pepper. 

The palate is full-bodied with jammy blackberry liqueur flavors accented by enticing spice box, leather, vanilla and peppery notes. It is balanced, long
on the finish and thoroughly rewarding. 

We aged this wine for over two years in one- and two-year-old barrels
(80% French and 20% American oak) to add complexity and texture.
