50% Syrah and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon; 145 cases made

The blend of Cabernet and Syrah has garnered a great following in Australia and this wine is our homage to that great alliance. The wine is composed of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Syrah, both of which are Clone 01 picked from blocks 2 and 17 at Camp 4. 

Predominant aromas of black currant, tobacco leaf and black cherry are fairly typical with sage, cedar and cigar box resulting from the large percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in the wine. Black cherry, plum, black currant and chocolate round out the flavor palate. Hints of herbs of Provence and cedar/spice are also evident. 

22 months in 50% new French oak barrels frame the fruit and provide great structure.
