2006 Epiphany – Red Rhone Blend
Revelation
Retail: $35.00 Wine Club $29.75
Tasting Notes:
Without question this has become the “flagship” wine for Epiphany. The blend of Grenache, Syrah and Petite Sirah delivers a combination of explosive fruit flavors, complexity, palate weight and approachability that creates a challenge:
Do you have the patience to age this wine in your cellar? We were ecstatic to learn that Wine Spectator rated the 2006 vintage 92 points noting the “blackberry and wild berry, boysenberry and cherry jam” flavor. The review went on to call the wine “a big, flavorful wine that’s also elegant and refined”. We agree.
