For our un-oaked Chardonnay, we decided to tap into one of our best vineyard sources – Ashley’s in Santa Rita Hills – for this program. The result is a wonderful example of Chardonnay fruit flavors – fresh apple and pear - along with some of the minerality and brisk acidity that we’ve always found in Chardonnay from this vineyard. 

Being fermented and aged 100% in stainless steel really allows these characteristics to shine through in an uninhibited manner that is worth a try. We have one warning: Like us, you may not want to drink oaked Chardonnay any more! 

Some suggested pairings are sushi, soft cheeses like Brie, chicken piccata and any light fish dish.
